Do you need support?

Please let us know which broker or trading platform is affected, especially if there are payout problems.

Arrange a free initial consultation

Our lawyers have several years of experience in advising, supporting and representing clients who have been harmed by dubious or dubious providers of online trading, Bitcoin investments or other financial investments.

Is your provider listed here? Are you experiencing difficulties with the payout of your profits? Take the opportunity to consult one of our lawyers without obligation.

Distinguishing between problematic and challenging online brokers

Not all difficulties with your broker indicate fraud.

  • Not customer-oriented.
  • Have no or only foreign licenses.
  • Are often difficult to reach.
  • Possible payout problems that could be solvable.
  • Push for increased trading, but take customer limits into account.
  • Appear customer-friendly at first.
  • Do not have adequate licenses for financial services.
  • Sudden loss of contact and difficulties with withdrawals.
  • Require constantly higher deposits.
  • Withdrawal problems that may not be resolved.

Financial regulators and investigating authorities

Many cases of problematic online brokers have come to light. BaFin, police authorities and the BKA issue public warnings and regularly publish warning lists and information material. In addition to our list, investors should also keep an eye on official reports.

Timely action required

Is your payout delayed due to fees, taxes or other reasons? If the broker refuses to pay out and instead only requests further deposits, this could indicate fraud.

Do not hesitate to take legal action.

  1. Taxes and broker payments: Taxes on profits from financial investments are not normally paid directly to the broker. In particular, they should not be paid to the broker as a condition for the payment of profits. This is an important consideration as the tax payment is normally dealt with directly with the relevant tax authorities.
  2. Requirement of proof of liquidity: If a broker requests proof of liquidity shortly after the investor has requested a payout, this is clearly dubious behavior. As a rule, the financial situation of an investor is checked at the beginning of an investment, but not afterwards when the investor has already requested a payout.
  3. Mirror transactions: Mirror transactions, i.e. imitating the transactions of another investor or trader, should be avoided. They involve a high risk and are often a sign of dubious or unsafe investment strategies.
  4. Opaque commissions: Commissions and other fees should be clear and set out in writing from the outset. If commissions are not communicated transparently or are only disclosed over time, this is inadmissible and indicates potential irregularities. Transparency is crucial to ensure investor confidence and security.
